We’re thrilled to announce our inclusion in JOSCAR, the prestigious accreditation and compliance system for the defence and aerospace sectors. The system was established following an initiative led by ADS Group and includes a growing number of prime contractors as registered buyers. It’s validation of our status as a trusted supplier and it comes with additional benefits: it’s easier and faster for customers to begin work with us. They don’t have to worry about the initial administrative burden connected to vetting a new supplier. And they gain confidence from knowing a supplier’s risk profile isn’t treated as a tick-box exercise.

What is JOSCAR?

JOSCAR is one of the four procurement communities operated by Hellios Information, a company dedicated to developing communities of buying organisations to provide third and fourth-party risk management processes by collecting, validating, and monitoring supplier information. To join JOSCAR, suppliers undergo a thorough two-stage vetting process that includes legal, financial, supply chain, security, and product scrutiny.

JOSCAR is a tool for clients in the aerospace and defence sectors to assess pre-qualified and compliant suppliers. It simplifies and improves collaboration between buyers and suppliers. Streamlining processes saves buyers’ time and JOSCAR membership instils trust between both parties.

Why Peregrine?

As a JOSCAR member, major aerospace, defence, and security contractors can access our expertise in attracting, deploying, and developing the scarcest talent pools. Plus, security clearance hiring including BPSS, and vetting can help our clients add critical resources to their organisations. The people we place in their organisations are employed by Peregrine but work for them. Our experts collaborate with clients to develop workforce planning strategies that tackle complex needs and geographic constraints.

How do we attract top-tier technical and engineering talent amid fierce competition?

  • Custom high-touch deployment processes including security vetting support, relocation guidance, and onboarding best practices
  • Dedicated relationships with skilled armed forces veterans, job changers, people experiencing economic displacement, STEM grads, and expert aerospace professionals
  • Continuous and targeted development to future-proof technical and human skills.

Our aim is to attract and develop people who combine technical skills with personal resilience and are prepared to take on the challenges our customers face now and in the future.

Jenna Wild, Growth Director, at Peregrine puts it simply:

Workforce planning is what we do for our aerospace and defence clients to ensure resources are available for critical projects.”
